I am:
a tinkerer who enjoys tech, coding, and neat solutions that last. In the linkFISH context, I am consultant, data scientist, and write a lot of open-source code.
What motivates me:
is coming up with good solutions. But what is good? Often there are different requirements and no technical approach can meet all criteria by 100%. These are the challenges I find most exciting, as they require the kind of scoping and prioritizing you can only get right when working closely with the whole team and our clients.
Before I joined linkFISH:
I studied physics and finished my PhD. Exploring the realm of complex systems, neural networks and disease spread (COVID), I primarily used computer-based methods — which is also my link to linkFISH. 🔗
What I like about my job:
is the variety: every project brings new challenges and puzzles to solve. 🧩
I also have a lot of freedom, can often build things around my own ideas and work on explorative internal projects.
What I associate with linkFISH:
Facts instead of buzzwords. There is this trend I see a lot, where experts hide behind terminology instead of talking about concepts. Not at linkFISH — here, the focus always lies on the actual issue.
In my free time:
outdoors, running, bouldering or otherwise working out. As creative outlet, you can sometimes find me behind the turntables 🎧
